Reward is the summary of life, there is a season to plant and a season to harvest as described in Genesis 8:22
The earth which we live in right now, is a temporary residence not a permanent residence,we won’t be here forever.
Hebrews 11:15-16
And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
John 5:28-29
Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
What determines our destination, is the choices that we make and choices have to be good if we were to make heaven at long last.
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.
We would be accountable for what choices we have made, for the good of humanity or detrimental to humanity, to promote the Glorious Gospel of Jesus or talk ugly about the precious sacrifice of Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.A lifestyle of repentance from all dead works, living for God and declaring the finished works of Jesus looks like an eternity of joy with the saints and God the Father.
Hebrews 10:36-39
For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
Live for God and make heaven at last in Jesus Name!
