1 John 1:5 .This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
Where light exist there can be no darkness,God is light and has no trace of darkness in Him .
Therefore when you get over to the side of Jesus Christ, believe in your heart that He is the son of God and confess with your mouth there would be no trace of darkness in you
Symptoms of the life before Jesus Christ may be present but not to be settled for as your reality as the living word becomes your reality anything not planted by God gives way for the light of the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ
This is the message there is no room for darkness in your new life in Jesus Christ, you are Redeemed from the curse of sin and deserve the best
