Prayer is communion and communication with God, been communication there is a talking to God and there is a response from God.
For prayer to be effective it has to be from the living word of God, as this kind of prayer is praying the will of God himself.
If prayer is important , where can prayers be made?
This is what the Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:8;
I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Everywhere it says and everywhere it shall be therefore;
-prayer is not limited by location,
-prayer is not limited by the time of the day,
-prayer is not limited by atmospheric conditions or seasons.
We therefore pray;
-at all times
-after a victory
-before a battle
-for future events
-for leadership.
Prayer has got types and includes but not limited to;
-prayer of unity: coming together for a purpose
-prayer of intercession: to pray on behalf of people, nations and events
-prayer of agreement: two can put ten thousand to flight, with God backing us up as this is in agreement with scriptures
-prayer of praise and worship: at all times our mouth should be full of thanks to God because He is working all the time!
-prayer in tongues: as inspired by the Holy ghost without fear all utterance
What is important in prayer if I want my prayers always answered
-forgive all including yourself
-believe you receive when you pray
– pray to God in the name of Jesus
-be a doer of the word of God not just a hearer
-depend on the help of the Holy spirit
