In consistency lies the power the words of Gloria Copeland, these words have a far reaching effect than it just sounds as there is so much to those words as getting results only come from efforts to a particular mission.
Doing on purpose till results are seen is consistency, you get saved and God wants you saved, He does not want returning back to your vomit but to stand fast in the liberty where Jesus Christ has made available to you !
What are we to be consistent in as Christians;
- Fellowship
Fellowship is essential to our Christian faith, when we come together to gather it pleases God to hear us give thanks to His name, He is enthroned in the praises of His people
Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching
- 2 . Salvation
God created us for fellowship and that fellowship He wants us to continue in heaven, friend heaven is for you and God wants you saved and remain saved making heaven at last
Luke 9:62
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Philippians 2:12
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling
Galatians 3:3
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Undecided on salvation ? I must bring to your notice that salvation is free and comes by believing in your heart the price Jesus paid on the cross and saying it with your mouth unto salvation
LORD JESUS THANK YOU FOR LOVE FINDING EXPRESSION ON THE CROSS, I BELIEVE YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD AND DIED ON THE CROSS FOR MY SINS, TODAY I ACCEPT YOUR OFFER OF SALVATION COME INTO MY HEART BE MY LORD AND SAVIOR , I RENOUNCE EVERY DEAD WORK AND DECLARE I AM BORN AGAIN !
- 3. Prayer
Effectual and fervent prayer implies consistent prayer and it is productive, God is available to hear and answer prayer when there is a man to prayer.
The question is are you willing to pray? If you are then there is a God to answer and He has got the solution to every intent and thought of your heart
James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much
Matthew 16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven
- 4. Faith
You claim the promises of God with the faith of Abraham and not with the doubt of Thomas, all that God said He will do and will never stop doing. He needs you to trust Him and believe all that He has said, and all that He said is true as He is not a man that should lie .
2 Corinthians 4:13
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
- 5. Love
God is love and in God’s love there is no darkness as He is light, the love of God has been shed abroad our hearts by the Holy Ghost ( Romans 5:5)
The consistency of love in us makes us full of light is love as no darkness can be found in God therefore you can declare you are full of light and it is so .
John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Ephesians 3:17-19
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
